I just got the dash kit in and it seems to install a double din, you have to cut the plastic "din divider" I wanna know what's the safest way to do this. Also there is the same thing on both A/C vent slots...

my plan is to use tape at the cutting points to prevent damage to the dash kit...

any advice??

I'd recommend a dremel.
