Any of you guys ever thought about it? Its a pretty sweet idea, the way it works to both cool your intake charge as well as increase octane rating and add oxygen to the mixture. Honestly looking at some of these kits, I wonder why I have never even heard of anyone using this on a KA-T... it seems to make so much sense given the low quality of pump gas and potential for our engines to detonate...

Anyone done any specific research on this that can help point me in the right direction?

markemark runs alky...i might do it eventually too, because i wanna get about 280-310 whp out of a stock block and have it be dead reliable. WDRacing knows a lot about alky too

I am a firm believer in alchy, methanol, water injection. I ran Aquamist on my Typhoon and my GVR4 with awesome results. The SyTy folks do it alot. The GN guys have nearly perfected it. We made nearly 1000whp on a 347ci SBF on 93 octane for a pump gas shoot out with water injection.

try http://www.aquamist.co.uk/ for some awesome information

Yeah thanks Ivan, I saw that site while I was doing some googling on the subject. I think I'm going to go ahead and bump my setup up with some meth/water injection as well... I've been getting more and more nervous about autoignition with each tuning place I call that says "woah that's going to be pretty dangerous at that level" every time I tell them I want 20 psi on pump gas. It makes sense anyways, especially since its fairly inexpensive-- not to mention freakin badass.

Ivan (or anyone else): ever hear about the "derek devices" meth injection kits (http://derekdevises.com/)? You must have Ivan, it looks like a lot of supra guys use this kit. ...And its compatable with the AEM EMS.

Are u guys talking about the Snow Performance Kits? I know the mustang guys love these things...and most of the 5.0 mags have done dyno tests....a friend is in the process of installing one on his 94 gt...i just wonder how this will affect turbo performance on a KA or SR motor
