I'm probably going to get a methanol injection system set up when the cold at intake goes in. Have any y33 modders tried this? If so, what can I expect in gains and what concentrations should I aim for?

I'm doing the exact same thing on a G50, currently doing the physics part of it.

Would you be able to help me out when you get it to work out? Even equations and topics to research will help, not asking you to do all the work

On an N/A motor I wouldn't even bother with meth - your intake isn't getting hot enough to see much benefit. A budget (DIY installed) turbo set up will yield some serious power on the VH (then you install a meth kit). That is where I'd go first and I wouldn't even waste my time with anything else. An ebay GT45, and a lot of plumbing and welding. It is well worth it though.

Awesome info; I was hoping to get some fun with the meth before a turbo. Turbo is on the install list too, but I haven't the money or time at the moment.
Do all GT45 turbos come the same, or should I seek a specific A/R and size?

that's the one you want and from the seller you want to deal with. They sell a ton of those and they are known to be of high quality.

Learn to weld if you don't already know how. You could save some money and do all the welding yourself.

So another question now.
I noticed those don't have wastegates. Should I worry about fashioning a wastegate/buying an external wastegate, or is it not that big of a deal.
From what I recall 7psi is the absolute max recommended without changing anything in the engine, and I likely would do 5 psi max.
