Meters Fuse (seatbelts)

Ok, I removed all of my seatbelts not to long agon the track, the lap belt, behind the seats on the floorboard. I recently installed some 3pt harnesses and removed the female seatbelt connected to the seat. After that I started blowing my 10amp meters fuse. I reinstalled the seat belt connector and everything has been fine for about 2 weeks. Now I am blowing the fuse again. The computer box in the center console is not plugged in nor has it since I removed the auto seatbelts. I ran about six months w/o any seatbelts and had no problems. Any suggestions?

a guy on http://www.northwestnissans.com did a auto to manual seatbelt conversion and might know something about it. Do a search on it there.
