Since my warranty company ****ed me out of half of my warranty. I needed to be able to drive my car but not put miles on it. So what I did was remove the ‘meter’ fuse. Which disables all the gauges (including odometer/speedometer). But one problem I noticed was the car dies at night (when the lights are on). For some reason without that fuse it will not charge the battery or something. It’s a no brainier, I don’t need to do that anymore, but I’m just curious if anyone knows why it did that? It’s like dying at night, can barely run because the fuel pump has no power, the headlight are dim or off, and you put the fuse back and all of the sudden everything is back to normal. It’s just really odd.

Well, after a quick look at my 91's FSm, hte olny thing that I can find is that that fuse also runs the Time Control Unit. The TCU controls wipers, washer, rear defrog, chimes plus a meriad off other things....I can't see that causing your stalling issue.....wierd.....

Not really stalling. It's just like if your car had no power, light dim, fuel pump cuts, etc. I can't figure it out either. No big deal, just kinda curious.
