bro, that sh*t looks pretty tight--i like the subtle metallic/sparkly look--not overdone, looks good with black interior--you can change the color to glacier mica frost when you get the stone interior leather etc.-lol--sorry i know you want that black swapped out...

IMO, looks waaaay better than the pink/orange stuff you tried before.

It does look good, but I think you should try to do something with the shift bezel; it kinda stands out in a sore thumb way on the new finish. I'm not going to suggest anything because I think you're plenty creative and likely to come up with a better idea than I could.

Thanks partysan!!!

Thanks for the feedback & input Dustin... At first I thought the same thing about the shift bezel but if you look around there's a lot of chrome accents complimenting the black, so imo it doesnt stick out like a sore thumb... look at the chrome on the changer's trim, on the door panel, on the actual shifter & on the door handle & locks... plus somebody was telling me how my interior now resembles the black trim option from Fugas in Japan nd showed me a picture of the trim & really looks identical minus the metallicness...

Black looks good but it depends on what you are tyring to accomplish. The fake wood trim was designed to break up the monochromatic tones of the car. Another words, wood and fake metal balanced the internal appearance of the car and people like it (wood for the materialistics and metal for the sport car people). Nissan took a poll on what the general consumer wanted in a car interior and it was reported wood or brushed metal (wood for the high end and silver for the SE or sport model). Actually, all car manufacturers agreed on the two for thier two most desired models. And to be honest, except for carbon fiber in a sports car, those two color combinations work. My last car had wood and I swapped it out for brushed aluminum and it took a longer time to sell if I stuck with fake wood. So if you are going to deviate from the two you better consider on keeping the car for a long time.

Nissan never polled me & many more people, therefore the wood in 06/07 Ms ended up being a POS, quality wise & color wise. The wood in a 2003 BMW E46 is soooooo much better looking than the wood in not only a more modern car but in a car almost twice as expensive. Nissan at least fixed the wood color for 08+ Ms (& possibly the quality, I'm not sure) and it does look better but then still not even on par with the E46's wood trim, that's a shame. Nissan Fugas in Japan have the option of coming with black trim very similar to what mine looks like, with the exception that is a deeper black & not metallic at all, I guess the Japanese really like the monochromatic look or simply believe the amber lightning (06/07 Ms) suffices to break the monochrome. As far as not selling because of a trim... that's circumstancial. Nonetheless, as of right now I am keeping this car for a long time. Thanks for your intelligent but dubious feedback this time, suits you better.

Maybe your shift bezel looks more like chrome than mine (mine looks like crap even on the wood trim, while the rest of the chrome trim looks like chrome), but if it is as plastic-y and fake looking as mine (and it appears to be in the pictures), then I'd say chrome dip/paint it and I'll agree with you that it goes with the look. :bigthumb:
