Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone has tried to do a shift boot delete and replace with a metal shift gate like Lamborghini's and Ferrari's have?

The shifter travel on these cars is a bit different to that of the Lambos and Ferraris and the gated shifter trim would end up looking weird, I tried to layout something once but when I realized that it would be less of a gated look and more of a hole with triangles on two sides I quit.
