metal shavings in oil pan

This looks almost like the same thing as SxMachine's metal shavings in his oil pan.

My sr has a knock. Does this look anything like main, or rod bearing shavings?It does look kinda look copper I don't know what the oem bearings are made from.

Yea homie we got the same issues, cept i got no knock. Yours sounds a bit more serious. No standard bearings 4 you unless u gauge em. Ima be pullin my motor prob this weekend. I wouldve turboed the ka if i knew this would hap.

most likely there the rod bearings..correct me if im wrong but copper is the last layer or close to the last layer of the bearing.. i had the same problem and yup it was my number 3 rod bearing..good luck

Yeah I tore it down, it was a number 3 rod bearing. Gonna bring the crank somewhere tomorrow and see if it's still useableIf it is I'll probably repolish get some new bearings, pistons, and rods and maybe do a little build
