What do you guys think about OEM metal pedals in the G35? I used to have them in my audi a4, they were nice. I found these on ebay, they don't require drilling and I think they are oem parts:

Anybody have these? What's your opinion on them? Don't know if they'll fit an 07 though.

I think it looks good. I'm actually planning to get one in my car as well. But IMO, i've had some bad experiences with top sellers on ebay selling imitation crap, so I'd rather get an OEM at an actual store.

Yeah I've had a lot of bad experiences on ebay and sometimes paying extra will save you more money in the long run.

Just got OEM Infiniti Aluminum Pedals for my 04 6MT. Installed the dead pedal and took off rubber for clutch and brake pedals. having tough time installing aluminum pedals. Got instructions from everythingg35.com. said to warm up rubber with heat source or other source. Any ideas? I don't have a heating gun or anything. How did you all do it? The clutch and brake are the same install. I'm stuck. Will work on accelerator pedal while waiting for some tips. BTW great forum, you all are fantastic! WIll post pics once done.

Would they be slippery when wet? Like on a rainy day. If so, that could be a problem.

Yes, I like the look, but question how functional they are...better or worse...

Not to be oppositional, but metal pedals (unlike some functional mods) are as useful as "tits on a boar hog," or "pockets on a shirt tail!" Save your money.... invest in a 401K, CD's or money market account--- or make mods that actually have a purpose.

Had them on my alty...serve no purpose apart from aesthetics. Not slippery in the rain or snow they have (at least mine did) little rubber grip bumps. I like the look and may put them on my G.

Do they scratch easily? I live in New England and drive in the snow where there is sand and salt. I wonder if the metal will get all scratched up from sand on my shoes?
