I noticed while removing the radiator the plastic hose outlets for the upper hose is cracking around the lip..

I will be replacing the following parts before teh Q45a hits the road:

Water pump (need)

Radiator (need)

Active computer(have)

Alternator (have)

Was thinking of doing the PAN DROP while im under there doing the Alternator..but I'm unsure if I need a ton of special equipment to do it.

Where should I get the radiator?most of the links to our sponsers are a cookie cutter parts system that all search the same data bases and give the same price..

Metal or another plastic... The metal one is only around 50.00 more than the plastic.

Tomorrow I pull the A\C compressor

If you're wanting one, I can get you a brand new one. I can also get you a waterpump. Email me if you're interested. I'd go with metal. You should ask Jesda what he thinks of the radiator I sold him.

The OEM radiator is a aluminum reverse flow design.

There have been some good previous posts on OEM vs. aftermarket by Q45tech and AZhitman, both of whom have custom after market aluminum ones.

Pan drop is a very big job requiring the engine to be supported from above and the lower crossmember to be removed.

Could you post a picture of the fittings please?

I'll take it if it will work and the price is right!

Buy a radiator from Evan. I put it in my Q and went across the country. Works beautifully!

Just remember the Q water capacity is on the smallish side to save weight and BMW and MB/Audi used a 33% larger system for their equal V8 in the same model years.

These brands had a big following in the HOT Middle East whereas Nissan had no plans to sell in that market THEN.

At idle when rad airflow efficiency is lowest........coolant capacity rules the time for the excess heat to heat the water.
