Metal Grinding sound...

I hear a metalic grinding sound while going in reverse. Doesnt have to be in reverse to be heard, just while im moving backwards. Anyone have a clue what it would be? Im thinking maybe somethin is messed in the diff or something, but dont really know overall...any suggestions?

Not really sure but...

You get a metallic grinding sound when the brake pads wear out and the metal rubs the rotors. That probably wouldn't only happen in reverse though.

Just a suggestion, I try to help lol.
