From August 20 to September 3, a closed beta will run for the 3,000 fans lucky enough to successfully make it through the front door. Want in? Keep your eyes trained on the Kojima Productions website -- the selection process is supposed to begin today and run through August 6.

I LOVE METAL GEAR SOLID! Sons of Liberty was my all time favorite video game for PS2, and 007 Golden eye for N64 is a close second.

Bummer. You would think they would want to make americans feel better about the PS3 with the less than expected response it's had here (everywhere actually). Especially with a series that has some potential to really help the PS3.
