So, I just got done watching Hideo Kojima's presentation at GDC and at the end, he hinted at a new MGS game where we'll be playing as Raiden apparently. After MGS 4 he said he wouldn't be making the sequel, if there was one. But he neither denied nor confirmed that in this presentation. Hopefully he continues through with the great series.

I heard this too, and i hope the franchise continues, but to be honest, it wont be the same not playing as snake. so i disapprove. raiden is cool and all, but there is no replacement for snake

yeah snake was definitely a one of a kind character. but if kojima is still directing it, im sure he'll turn raiden into a legendary character like snake.
