When i first start my car up, it will rev up fine. after it gets up to temp it acts like its missing bad. Could the ignitor be getting to hot from the metal coilpack cover? anyone else have this problem?

could have bad rubber boots on the coils and when hot they start to arc. Some have wrapped electrical tape around the outside of their coil boots to add insulation to stop and prevent this type of thing. Check out the condition of your coils, and if you really think its the coil cover then take it off and see if it stops, but I doubt thats the problem.

Might be another problem but that has been an issue with others, good luck.

check your grounds on, and around the igniter. There is a ground on the #6 coil pack under the M8 bolt that I left disconnected. I was blowing coils left and right until I attached it.

that ground is attached, i talked with a few guys at work and they suggested i check the timing. the way this thing is cutting out, the timing could be off
