metal clanking noise

hey guys. i hear this crazy a** noice whenever i pull off in the M, it goes away after about 8-10 mph. its like a metal knocking or clanking noise. you only notice when the windows are down. it happens when in drive, and reverse.... anyone think they may know?

hi, your "universal joint" that connect the drive shaft to the front differential need to be replaced.

happened to me.. why its only clank till 10 mph?

because our all wheels drive system connect the front wheels in every lunch till 10 mph and then its disconnect.

no worries, we use the same Infiniti FX part. i fixed it for 50 Bucks.
