Hi...

Location: Richmond BC, Canada.

The Start:

Just messing around:

Stock suspension FLEX ... hahaha

one of the many puddles... would have gone in more in the middle but I was wearing relatively new WHITE runners.. haha

Scenic Shots:

there was A LOT more mud holes and steep muddy terrain, but I did not want to get out to take photos and ruin my shoes.. haha

not really a trail.. just some place that's 20 mins from downtown Vancouver.

I want to hit the real trails in a few weeks when the snow melts in the valley and the trails gets manageable for a newb like me.

Nice place to play around when you're getting your feet wet (no pun intended) 4 wheelin'...Terrain looks pretty tame, but nice and slippery...good for muddin'. Best thing you can do at this point to increase your fun for the money - upgrade your tires to a good all terrain/mud terrain, depending on what you're gonna run in most of the time. Love the pic of the deer..Don't see those around here much. And I understand about jumping out in the middle of a biga*s puddle. I wear mink-oiled work boots most of the time and I still try not to do it.

When I sank mine I just took off my shoes & walked out into the water/mud. Of course I kinda had to, there was no other option & I wasn't doin it for a picture... I was trin' to get that b*tch to run again (which we did & I wheeled it the rest of the day)

sooo I was trying to find a trail that a few of my v240 buddies told me about.. but couldn't find it, so I just took some random shots.

White Pine Beach/Sasamat/Belcarra (Port Moody BC)

I tried climbing this tiny hump of snow, but my tires suck balls and were not aggressive enough to bit the hard snow.

Maybe i'll steal the rims/tires off my dads mazda 4x4 (if they fit) as they are mudders.

I also picked up a grade 3/4 hitch for the rear so I have a proper place to tow/be towed.

I was going to buy a 20000 lbs 30 ft recovery strap but wasn't sure if it was long enough.. suggestions?

since you were out in that area, you should have gone up Sylvester Road in Mission (find it on google maps) up to the Stave Lake area. lots of trails up there and mud flats near the lake and you'll see lots of people wheelin out there. Noit sure how much snow is still on the roads right now though, but it might be worth it to check it out.
