I REALLY like the look of that. Much cleaner then the factory grill piece, and yet somehow very refined and stylish still. Either way props for DIY.

Smooth out the turn signal holes with fiberglass and bondo and get some bright *** LED orange bulbs and mount them in the scoops/holes next to your fogs. Or even a crazier idea, mount them on the holes on your lip lol.

It probably won't be legal, but if other drivers can see them then i don't think there would be a problem.

Dunno, just brainstorming :P
i just did something like this to my s13 about 2 weeks ago. i put the origin labs urban kit on my s13 there are two lights in the bumper but the lights i got from origin use a 2 prong bulbs, instead of the 3 prong blinker/parking light combo. so i had to do something to put turn signals or parking lights on the front bumper. so i put led's on the bumper for my parking lights and kept the lights on the kit for my turn signals cause it's hard to see the leds in the day time.

i'll just make a new topic later with some pics. i don't have pics of the process, because i thought i'd get flamed.

I think you mean the K's grille

no defects, just not perfect as if a machine cut it. I mean I cut this thing out with a reciprocating saw, bent it by hand and a hammer in a vice, and used files and sandpaper to smooth the edges out. It's all part of making something by hand, there's gonna be some imperfections, especially your first one

thx for the compliments, it looks really clean from far away as well! I'll snap pic later.

Looks good, you should mass produce these and sell them in "Fabricator's Market."

that looks REALLY good, holy cow. at first, in the hood-open picture, i was thinking "maybe the turbo right there is just making it look better than it really does" ( )

but with the hood closed, it looks HELLA sweet. props on the job.

i think its about time for a sweet new sig

That's what i was thinking....use yours as a template, or cardboard template, mass produce, sell!

and give me the 10% instruction/brainstorm fee

looks amazing. 1 billion times better than the HD lip.

does it just sit there? or did you 3m it down?

looks like a Mach1 front end. should get one of those Mach 1 posts and add a floating nissan badge in the middle. would be hot as shizit.

trust me, I already thought about selling these

I made a little 90 degree bracket to use the bolt on the hood latch and then I used 3M double sided tape on the headlights(inside angled part). This sucker is going no where lol.

I was thinking about making a little 90 degree bracket and putting the red silvia hood "S" on there..OMG that would look tits.

It was pretty complicated cuz the sides of the headlights don't go straight back (they are angled in believe it or not) and I wanted to get the curvature of the grill perfect. It took me a good 2 hours of planning with cardboard templates, then I started cutting. "Measure twice, cut once" is what they say..
