messed up tempurature gauge

I recently put in a 96 KA in my 91, well everything was fine but yesterday i noticed that my temperature gauge is messed up.If the car is still then the gauge is fine, but if i accelerate the gauge like jumps or goes down and isn't steady at all, does anyone know what the problem could be?

loose wire maybe? the motion from the car moving or revving when you start going jiggles the wire causeing it not to be steeady? my two cents

theres a coolant line going into the head. There are 2 sensors about an inch apart. One has 2 wires, then the next has 1 wire. The one that has only 1-wire feeds voltage to your temp gauge. check out this connector, clean it, re-solder it as needed. It'll fix you right up
