You didn't hook-up your alternator harness correctly. Go through that harness and make sure everything is plugged-up.240sxbobbis wrote:ok i didnt wire up my knock sensor could this be the reason why it would do that . i dont see the wire for it but i have a plug one that came on the motor when i got it . also my batt isnt holding any charge bad batt or altenator?
is there anyone on here that had this problem before what did you/they do about it let me know thanks ....
Check for unplugged hoses that connect to your intake tube after your MAF. When I pulled my intake out for room to work, I forgot to hook the two hoses (KADE) back on the intake. The MAF reads one airflow, but the air going in is different. It would idle perfect, but as soon as I stepped on the gas it died.240sxbobbis wrote:ok so i got my motor to start up and run holds idle nicely at 720 to be precily but when i give it gas i hit fuel cut right at 3000 rpm dont know what it could be does anyone have any bright ideas that would be good . other than that the motor sounds good but idles like so ill like to know all the reasons this could be . i dont have an standalone its a stock ecu ...........
let me know if that works. good luck!240sxbobbis wrote:oooooooo i c thanks man
Sounds like he's trying to use a SOHC MAF. Arent the DE MAFs 4 wire, and the E 3? All I know is I got a SOHC MAF for my DE on accident, and the wires are different so now I have a SOHC maf lying around.damesta wrote:DOHC ka mafs will not work, you'll need to get an SOHC ka maf.
