Hey all! I'm normally over in the truck section but I had couple questions for y'all. I know that when Ford agreed to use the VG in the Villager they made Nissan convert it to a "Non-Interferance" setup, meaning no valve to piston contact if the timing belt breaks, but what exactly did Nissan change to do that?
Also did Nissan make the Quest non interferance as well?
Are the later VG33's non interferance as well?
I know for a fact the Truck / Z car VG30's are definately interferance engines, not sure about the VG33's
I'm looking to do a VG33 swap into a Hardbody shell I bought and I have the oppertunity to nab one out of a Quest / Villager from my local junkyard, just wanted to know more about them!
Thanks!

Nissan has produced several non-interference engines, including the older 3.0L SOHC 12-valve V6, and certain older engines like the Villager 3.3L.
