I am using a q45 throttle body for a hybrid application and had to apply the band saw the solenoid under the spring mechanism for clearance purposes and as I am sawing on the Throttle body, It shot out some liquid metal junk on me and my bandsaw. I doesnt really look like mercury but what could it be?
I just want to make sure it isnt poisonous because it is now in my bandsaw and I cant clear it out.
I know mercury isnt the best stuff to touch nor re-expose yourself to on a daily basis.
So If anyone knows what I am dealing with and how to get rid of it, that would be helpful. Thanks

Actually viscous wax [part of idle warm up system which is heated by coolant] expands cold and lifts the throttle plate a tiny amount in winter.........why the rpms start at 1400 on a cold day.

Its silvery in color correct?
If so thats great to hear. I was worried it was some kind of mercury or harmful metallic liquid(because of the silver color).
