So I have been prepping this swap for a little while now and have come searching for a few answers. I found this site through a google on rb engines in w123 mercs. I found a very old thread with a guy who had a 20 in one? His user name was Benz_200t, hoping he's still around. Please keep in mind that I am capable and have done motor swaps before, I'm happy to have to work, and pay, for this.
In short, has anyone done this before?
Benz_200t had a r200 diff in his with the original rear end in tact I believe, anyone know if it was a lot of work to install?
How did you go fitting up engine mounts? Custom weld? Cut into stock K frame? Had them made? Gearbox mounts too?
These are the really big questions that I had, I'm sure there will be more later
