Question, is there a fuse of some kind that is responsible for the auto memory buttons on the door? The SET, 1 and 2.
Mine don't light up and if I hold the SET button for 10 seconds it does not blink to turn on or off the comfort convenience option to have the drivers seat roll back or not. Have to use the navi to do that.

So is there a fuse for those buttons or if you pull the battery do I need to reset the seat motor limits or something? I know lexus has a thing where memory seats wont work until you go through the motor limits of the seat positions and steering wheel...

I don't think this question has ever been asked...I know I had an issue with my 07 when I first bought it where it wouldn't go back to the same position and they had to replace the memory module...but not sure about a fuse.

If you pull the fuse panel door it should list the various systems.

You can also use the FAQ link in my signature to download the Factory Service Manual for the car and see if that has some tips.

My 03 M45 does the same thing, the door memory buttons do nothing I have not looked to far into it, other then looking for a fuse which I could not find.

But same scenario the led doesn't light up, you can press and hold for 10 minutes and nothing happens

Assuming you have a 2006+ model, it is located on the steering column. Remove the lower trim pieces and the box should be accessible right in front of you.

Do the regular seat controls work, or is the seat stuck? If it's stuck, see if the lumbar button works. The lumbar is wired separately "direct" to the motor, everything else goes through the Seat Controller under the seat. So if the lumbar works, you can rule out a power or ground problem, but chances are the Seat Controller is bad and not the Auto Drive Positioner (ADP) Controller. The whole system talks to the CANbus through the Seat Controller, the ADP only has a LIN link (local communication) to the seat. So if the Seat Controller fails, the ADP won't work either. To find out which, get it scanned with a high-end scanner that can detect the Seat Controller. If the SC doesn't show up on CAN, then chances are it's the problem and not the ADP.

Having issues with mine as well. Whenever I start the car, the seat doesnt go into the preset position. I would always press #1 until it gets in the position that I preselected. It would move a little then stop. Any thoughts?

If it's stopping and going, then either there's either mechanical resistance in the seat track or drive cables, or the motor brushes are wearing out and it's drawing too much current. Either way, it sounds like an issue in the drive assembly and not the electronics.

PS - It's also possible the encoder for the track position is dying, but if it quits inching once it reaches the memorized position, you can rule that out.

I have it set to where the seat goes back and the steering wheel lifts up when I am exiting the car. But once I start the car, the seat would move up a little and the steering wheel will come down a little. I would then have to press button maybe 2 3 times before i get it where i want it.
I did remove the seats once before to get the carpet out. Come to think of it, it was after it started acting up. I think some sand/dirt go on the tracks bc I use to hear some crunching(not anymore).
Those damn seats are so heavy, geez.
