I just got a new I-35 in Canada and the manual says that my mirrors and steering wheel are saved in the memory with the seat position.

However, when I move my seat and mirror and then press #1, all I get is the seat coming back to the proper position but not the mirror.

Is this an optional item or am I missing something?

Thanks.

Gary welcome to the club. Did you store the seat and wheel positions in memory? It is usually done by selecting the positions, then choosing the memory button then the memory position button.

Yes. I pushed the SET button then # 1.

As I said, my seat will go back to the memory position but not the mirrors or steering wheel.

Thanks for the reply.

Does the I35 come with a motorized steering wheel?

I know my I30 only holds the seat in memory, but my Q has the seat, mirrors, steering wheel, and headrests in memory.

Good question.

I do not see a motor on the steering wheel but the mirrors are certainly motorized.

The manual says that the mirrors and wheel are in memory. Could the manual be wrong?? What a concept.

I don't drive the I much, but I do recall that there is a lever under the wheel, that loosens the thing, for vertical adjustment, only. No telescoping. The G35 loaner was manual, but the whole instrument cluster moves with the wheel.

You are probably the first person th ever read the manual that closely.

I read mine, while on a trip to NC, and learned that if I press the lock and unlock buttons simultaneously on the remote, I can enable and disable the horn beep, upon door locking.

I thought that was cool.

I'll call my dealer and see what they say.

Thanks.
