Anyone else have any issues with the drivers seat not returning to the "set:" position?

I use the setting for when you stop the engine, the drivers seat goes back and the steering wheel moves up. about half of the time when i get back in the car, the seat and wheel move about halfway back to the position where i had them for driving.

This drives me crazy b/c i am very particular to change in the seat/ wheel position. i spend about the first mile or 2 of driving trying to get it back to "just right" after it malfunctions.

And i know that you will prob say to use the memory options on the drivers door. I have and sometimes that gets jacked too. do you have this issue or do i have some type of electrical prob???

I had the same issue - something to do with a bad module - dealer replaced for free under warranty so no more issues...P

Have the same issue with my 2006 M35. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't . It doesn't seem to follow any pattern.

Did you ever get the moving seat fixed?

I had the same issue with the seat moving about half an inch when braking as well and finally got it fixed at the dealer BUT i had to go back 3 times before it was fixed.

What they did was replace the seat track 3 times... the 3rd installed seat track was either built the right way or it was installed the right way.

Anyhow, my point is, keep going back and make sure to let them know it happens to a lot of other owners - which they should already know

Captain Obvious here, just make sure you aren't shifting out of Park before the seat has stopped moving. Shifting out of Park cancels the motion.

I dont doubt your issue though, we have the same problem...sometimes...on our Lexus, so I know how annoying it is.

Getting off track a bit, my previous car did not have memory seats. If anyone (car wash guy, my fiancee, service guy at dealership) drove the car and moved it even an inch, I would spend the next week getting it back to where it was.
