first off, i've been lurking around this board forever, just nevered registered. hello to everyone.

ok, so i have an s13 with a series 1 rb25 swap, it's run for the past few months but the other day the alternator died. when i opened the relay box in the engine bay, the 75amp fuse for the alternator was melted, and had burned a hole thru the side of the box. the alternator does not work anymore, neither does the gauge cluster.

also, before this happened, the car started to run badly, it would not rev over 6000-ish rpms, it had no power at all, and idled poorly. i'm thinking it was a bad ignitor chip. could my ecu be toast as well?

i'll get pics later on when i go to my shop where the car is sitting. sorry if i didn't provide enough information, just ask questions and i'll answer them to the best of my ability lol. thanks for the help.

Unfortunatly I'll have to advocate the multimeter test the crap out approach as well, it just helped me get my car on the road, finally!
