Tried out some Plastx Lens Cleaner by Meguiar's today. Good stuff.

Made my taillights look brand-spanking new and the headlights on my cousin's I30T a lot cleaner.

Check out some before and after pics. Too bad my camera sucks though, otherwise you can see a big difference.

They come in small 1 ounce packets but each packet is enough to treat your headlights and taillights even if used liberally.

I use the Nexus stuff (3 stage). Also good stuff.

Did you do the center panel as well? I did - Just avoid the "INFINITI" lettering.

Makes a big difference, huh Soph?

On early Qs the Infiniti lettering is on the inside.... more aerodynamic. :D

I can vouch for another Mag's product that has proven itself to me, my mechanic and my body man several times over - I even know of one enterprising soul who goes around picking up xtra $$ "clearing" clouded plastic headlights

I use a 3 step process that can give a factory “new” appearances to plastic lens covers - get a bottle each of Meguiar’s Mirror Glaze #17 Clear Plastic Cleaner and a bottle of Meguiar’s Mirror Glaze #10 Clear Plastic Polish - approx $9 to $12 per 8oz bottle

1. Wetsand (w/copious amounts of water) to a 1500 grit (The cloudiest lenses I ever refinished necessitated wetsanding down through 800, 1200, then 1500 Silicon Carbide paper)

2. Two applications and buffings to clear off with the Mag’s #17 Cleaner using a buffer (I use a buffing wheel on lo setting w/a Dremel)

3. Two applications and buffings to clear off with the Mag’s #10 Polish using a buffing wheel - Clean up and enjoy !

This project is a damn site easier if you can remove the entire lens assembly to work on it -
