This is the way I set my VR sensor Bracket up, MegasquirtCA, helped me come up with the idea.

Just make sure the bracket is steady, vibrations is really bad here. Common problem in stand alone cars and often when long brackets are used, this is the first thing I check.

The best thing is to make a bracket with at least two or three mounting points.

Yup think of this way the longer something sticks the more momentum it can pick up. Kind of like the same concept of a pry bar or breaker bar.

You might be able to get away with welding a brace from one part to maybe a washer type thing on the bolt.

I'm curious to find out how Not_a_Sr is doing on his megasquirt project.
