i just got megan tracks but i havent put them on yet .... just how bumpy is the ride? the roads here are ok but kinda ****y in some parts . this is my daily and my weekend masher over the gas eatting V8 grand prix, so i drive the 240 as much as i can . i also have a wife and a 7 year old so i dont wanna killem or make the blow chunks... if it is a little bumpy for me and the fam what can i do to make the ride softer???

damn dude.. you got the megan tracks and you're worried about ride comfort? LOL... if anything, you should have gotten the streets, cuz the spring rates are more forgiving. Tracks = stiff track spring rates. I'm not gonna lie, it might be a lil too stiff for the roads. However, you might be able to get away with switching to a softer spring rate. i'd call megan and ask what softer spring rates are compatable.

1. this belongs in the suspension subforum -moved2. you bought track coilovers that you are using solely on the street and complaining about ride quality? - ?3. you bought something not fully understanding how it will affect your car? - ?4. you want to drive your wife and kid around in a 240sx with track coilovers on it and expect them to be comfortable? - sell the grand prix and buy a minivan, dude.5. if you had concerns why didn't you address them before you bought the coilovers? - honestly?

I'm getting the Megan track series soon, but ride comfort is not a priority for me. You need way softer spring rates than 12/10kg.

You need new coilovers with much softer rates, or get just do a spring/strut combo if your gonna be driving the family in it.

Coilovers aren't very family friendly, especially not megan tracks.
