So i know theres alot of s13 guys on here rockin megan suspension components, so i figured id ask for some input from all of you. Ever since i lowered my car and replaced the RUCAs and the rear toe rods with megan parts i have had the most horrible suspension noise. It goes away in the summer and comes back with a vengence as soon as it starts cooling down and raining again. I have narrowed down the noise without a doubt to these parts. So, i removed the rear toes rods and noticed that there was quite a bit of back and forth slop in the sleeves which slide into the ball joint. My theory is that this is the cause of the noise because it is allowing dirt and moisture to get into the joint. It is almost as if they were not machined to tight enough tolerances. same is the case with the rucas i believe. I can place my hands on the outside of the RUCA's and rock it back and forth a very small amount mabe 2mm and the movement is coming from where it mounts to the bracket on the subframe. Im wondering if anyone else has had this problem and how you solved it or if you did at all? I would like to avoid replacing them with higher quality (more expensive) parts but i believe it may be inevitable, but before i do id like some input.
