Im thinking of buying the megan racing springs because they give me the biggest drop and are the cheapest. I was wondering if anyone has them installed and if they would work well with the stock struts?

I owned an CAI that they made for the Spec V, but got rid of it as soon asa the N ISMO one was released. Was somewhat satisfied with the quality but not comparable to better known companies with longer reputations. This should work fine but i am gonna hold out for a full coilover system rather than just springs. According to versaspeed we may see it by the end of summer.

a couple of my friends have ran them on their cars. they are worth the money. I actually have a set sitting here in my room i havent installed on my versa yet. i may change to a different spring that doesnt lower as low as my bodykit already hangs really low. interested in the springs?

I have owned cars with that much of a drop and stock shocks couldn't keep up with them for long.

You are shortening the stroke of the oem shock and expecting it to handle the upgrade in spring rate.

I would run aftermarket shocks made for drops with these springs. You can run the stockers but they will not last long or give you as good as a ride as shocks set for that throw/rate.

This is also another reason why coilover setups run the prices they do. The ride height is achieved without chaning the piston travel on the shock. So the shock is valved for the spring rates and the travel stays the same so you can dump your car without sacrificing comfort (or the lack of depending on the spring rate and valving.)

:D
