Save for some better ones or spend that money on some nice used ones.

Anyways, I don't even recall ever seeing a 240 on here with megan seats. I wonder why?

Look in the seat fitment thread and check out some setups there.

I know of somebody running one in his 240. It sits a little high so if you are a tall person it might not be the best for you. And as far as "cheap" seats I believe megan is the only one in its price range who claims to have somewhat safety tested them.

I have one in my car. It's pretty wide, but hey it does the job. I'm a skinny guy and it still holds me in corners. I plan on getting another for the passenger side.

Just go bride. Better quality and better consumer reports. Stop cheaping.

I had megans seat in my car for two years. They are very very comfortable. Also they do a pretty good job holding around corners over stock seats. I would recommend them for daily and long road trip.

This particular seat has been in the car for 3 years and it still looks and works like new. I plan on getting another one for the passenger side. It's comfortable, adjustable, looks good and it's cheap... what else do you want? Oh yeah, it also doesn't cost twice as much because it has a different logo on the headrest.

Only bad thing I can think of is that when you flip it forward it hits the headliner near the windshield, but you can still get people/stuff in and out of the backseat just fine. Some aftermarkets dont even recline so I don't think that's much of an issue.

Are bride seats even certified/approved? I have always wondered this because I couldn't see why people would still pay $1k for a seat and it not even be FIA certified or something.

you're joking right? Bride wouldn't have the reputation they have if they weren't.I had no idea and 2 second google search found it.

When I was first looking for aftermarket seats, I went with MR. I loved the way they felt when I sat in them, but that's as far as I got with them. I bought a pair and installed the driver side. It was way too high; using their brackets. The top of the seat was only about an inch from the roof, so when I tried to recline it forward, it would hit the roof and not go forward. Also, because the seat was so high my thighs hit the steering wheel; and I'm 5'7", 180 lbs. I returned them and instead went with a F1 Spec Type-R Kevlar seat (Bride Gias Replica) as the driver seat and an S15 seat for my passengers. I love both seats, as they fit perfectly and both do an excellent job of holding, especially the F1 Spec seat, I literally do not move.

Seeing as how you have a hatch (like me), I highly suggest you look into other seats. I know the price is great, but they won't fit in the car.

Buy the Megan seats with the bride super low rails, and you wont have the height issue.
