megan racing fuel pressure regulator

I posted this in general 240sx thread but I thought it might be specific to SR.

I bought a megan fuel pressure regulator. I also ordered the nismo adapter from courtesy. The problem is UPS lost the package and I need to get this thing installed asap. My question is, do I NEED to use the adapter to get it working or is it just necessary to mount it to the fuel rail? If i can go without the adapter for a few days then I won't have to order another one. UPS says its going to take WEEKS to process a claim.

Yes since the megan unit will not directly plug into your fuel rail, you need an adapter to allow for a hose to go from your fuel rail to the megan FPR

is this for an SR? if so, the megan comes with an adapter that you can use on the fuel rail, actually it should come with two, you need to use the one with the centered outlet, but you will need a O ring gasket, you can find them at any AUTOPARTS store, just take the adapter with you to test fit.

I have this pressure regulator and the nismo adapter. The adapters that come with the regulator are flat and as was mentioned, don't have the rubber seal. The nismo one actually goes a little inside the rail where it seals with the o ring. If you got the right rubber gasket you might be able to get it to work.
