I do remember seeing a torsion test done on the cheap threaded type bars (you know, the adjustible ones that have the thread and the nut you have to tighten?) and as compared to a solid one, like a Cusco OS, and they are they are not at all as rigid. I myself forked out the extra dough for a Nismo/Cusco bar myself due to the fact that I have a CA and the damn intake mani is in the way, but it was ok because I wanted the best I could buy. However, for the most part, it would be reasonable to say that since you are not fitting a full weld in cage, that you have a street car with street suspensions and street tires, so any bar would be an imporovement and high loads won't be incurred anyway. Enjoy your savings!!
