While browsing the interwebs, I found a new coil over system for our car. Its from Megan Racing. I just recently discovered it. I don't know if anybody else has stumbled across it yet. The part number is MR-CDK-NA07. You can get it as cheap as 799!

If anybody has bought/installed this yet. Let me know. I'm really interested in it. I'm looking for a lowered look with a sportier ride but I'm not doing track days. Or just school me and tell me what you think is the best buy for the money. I've heard just springs can cause the struts to fail faster. Thanks in advance. :mike

Not sure about the coils, but springs WILL cause your struts to fail faster, and your suspension will be underdamped with stock struts.

I have a buddy that had Megans on his AC. He said they were okay, as stiff as BC's

I'm rockin' Megans right now. love the ride. if you're looking for a slammed look I'd go BC. and they're not brand new, i'm fairly sure they've been out for a couple of years now lol.

Haha thanks for the input. I didn't see them on the modification page. I PM'd the moderator that created it to let him know I found them. Glad I got somebody with an opinion on them. I'm only looking for a 1.4 inch in front and one in the rear. I don't want to be slammed and not be able to go over speed bumps haha.

I think there may even be springs that provide those exact height drops. Search the forums. There have been a lot of "which springs drop how much" floating around

Springs would be cool, but do you know of any place I could get low compression struts to go with them? I don't want to ruin my struts and wind up having to replace them anyway.

Tein S Tech's are made to be used with OEM struts.

This is a marketing ploy....anytime you install lowering springs on a car, you want to install aftermarket struts/shocks that are designed to handle the spring rate of lower springs. The Tein springs will cause your OEM struts/shocks to wear out prematurely, and will cause your car to have a bouncy ride quality. However, there may not be any performance aftermarket shocks/struts available for the coupe. The best solution is to go with coilovers if you want to lower your car properly.

KYB makes aftermarket shocks/struts for the altima coupe. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

I have the Megan Racing Coilovers, the one with 32 levels of dampening. So far they are a good solid ride but be aware that if you have the RacingLine strut bar that it won't fit and you will have to do modifications to make it fit!
