I just put my new coilovers on the s14 and there are some extra parts left over. They are two silver rings. The coilovers are awesome and they ride great, I'm very pleased with them but I was wondering if the rings are even necessary since there was nothing like that on the stock setup that I took off. anyways if you have any clue what these are for let me know [IMG][/IMG]

any pics of the rings you're talking about?

I'm gonna have to guess what you're talking about are the spacers that go to the bottom of the rear shocks to give more room so that they dont rub up against the knuckles.

im having trouble posing the pics but these are them. that may be what they are but the bottom of the megans look pretty similar to the stock bottoms as far as where the bolt goes through

1) here's how to post pics: zerothread/254009

2) I think they're spacers that go between the rear knuckle mount and the bottom shock (rear)

ya thats exactly what they are, I finaly got someone on the phone at megan. It feels the exact same it just straigtened up the coilover somewhat I guess. they should really put sumthing about them in the instructions. they arent even listed in the parts list.
