recieved it tuesday, put it on yesterday. sounds mean, fit perfect and for the right price.

Eek, that sticks out way too far. And looks to me like it is angled down? :confused:

Any chance you can take some lower shots? Like straight out from the back of the car? I have been interested in this exhaust and have been waiting for someone to post pics.

it is flush with the bumper, and points straight out.

IT ACTUALLY SLIGHTLY ANGLES UP ON MINE AND IT SITS FLUSH WITH THE END OF THE BUMPER.

is that the 3"turbo, or 2.5 NA??? im thinking about getting the 2.5 megan racing for my NA, just wondering how loud it is.

oh, its LOUD. and they only make a 3" for the S13. but am going turbo very soon.

hmm crap, on the ebay listing for it, they say that have 2.5 for "some models" i guess not for s13:mad:

Dude, I had same exact one before....and that **** is loud as hell without silencer. I def recommand you to put silencer on if u dont want ur *** to get pull over by cops 3 times a day for having a loud exhaust....But with silencer on, it is just enough to enjoy the nice deep tone!! Not a bad exhaust at all for the price!!

quiksilvia (aka big loser) just got that one too, it seems so long tipped to me. I saw a few megan cat backs on ebay that the tips were extrmely different. Are they just a different megan cat back or do they always come with those long *** tips.

My MR exhaust doesn't have that fat tip, but I've seen that before. I think the S13 has the fat tip, the S14 doesn't.There are some pics in the photopost.http://www.nissaninfiniticlub....r=922

ITS NOT LOUD AT ALL ON MY RB20 INFACT YOU CAN'T EVEN TELL THERE IS A 3" EXHUAST ON THE CAR SOMETIMES. BUT 5K RPM IS THE SWEET SPOT FOR THE RB20 AND THE EXHAUST NOTE SINGS TRUE AND SEMI LOUD.

Do you have any pictures that show more of the underneath of the back of the car? I'm seriously considering the Megan system and I'd like to see how far down the muffler hangs. Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

i bought the mr catback for my s13. i personally think it's kinda ugly. i saw pictures of the exhaust in different places before i bought it and it was alot shorter. but oh well. and yeah it is really loud, i set off car alarms when i drive by. with the silencer in it isn't all that bad but due to the fact my silencer was stolen a few days after i installed it i don't really have a choice now :( but overall it gets the job done and it's a hell of a lot cheaper than other catbacks.

Sad to hear all this. I'll be glad to help you out with a resonator, which manages the sound without robbing horsepower... Those "screw-in" silencers are ridiculous.

For another $100 you could have had a very high-quality system, tuned for more power and less racket. :(

I don't think that the BRM exhaust will make considerably more horsepower than the Megan Racing. It might have a different muffler, which would change the sound but the fact is, one 3 inch mandrel bent exhaust is pretty much the same as any other, 3 inch, mandrel bent exhaust. It doesn't make much sense to spend the extra $100 if you don't have to.
