Megan Motor/transmission mounts?

Are these any good. My motor and transmission mounts are bad and I need to replace them. The stock mounts are around 100 a piece(and this is my cost as a mechanic). The Megan mounts are cheaper for the whole set (184). Does anyone have them or have experience with them?

nismo are just below 200.i dont know about the megans, but like 9 outa ten 240s are running nismos.

Im aware of the Nismo mounts and would rather have them, but they are more expensive and this issue is a kind of "fix it now issue". I can get the Nismos when I do my swap.

Im just wanting some input on these for a temp deal, somewhere around a year or so of running them.

Ok, apparently I wasnt clear. The stock ones are a little over 100 a piece... and thats with a dealer account. And thats also not including the transmission mount. Im not asking for suggestions for a mount. Im asking for experience with this particular mount.

i thought maybe you could pick up an oe mount at a parts store

as for the megans, i have no experience good luck.

My discount @ Nissan bring the transmission mount to $51 (my trannt moun in bad so I looked last week) Not sure on motor mounts tho. The parts guy told me Nismo are cheapr than stock because they want to try and get ppl to buy there studd. So if you didn't ask find out the motor mount prices!

buy a nismo transmission mount from nismo store and get some hockey pucks drill hole and put a stud in if your wanting a cheap fix ive seen then use them. imo

Megans feel exactly the same stiffness as Nismos mounts but dont make your motor sit as high. Megan mounts are legit and thats from personal experience. Late.

yea im runnin them too and a buddy got the nismo and same thing i would say.

Don't do the hockey puck mounts, I daily'd my car with those mounts for all of about a week. Wayyyy too much vibration for anyone to deal with. If the Megan ones have been proven to be quality then get those.

Like i said i have seen them used i haven't my stock mounts are still good .Thanks for the incite .

Thanks for the info. I tried to get the Nismo mounts priced at my local Nissan dealer and he cant get them. I figured if anyone could, it would be them. But, quality parts in my area are difficult to fun since the most popular aftermarket parts dealer is Autozone and Advanced.

Anyway, the Nismo mounts (for the whole set) are around 230-240 on the same site I priced the Megan mounts. So, if they are equal in quality, getting the Nismo mounts seems kinda dumb.

Any idea of how long they last on a stock DD?

I have the Megan mounts and my friend has the Nismo mounts and his are slightly stiffer, although, the megans are much better stiffer then stock, thats for sure. Been running them for two years and no problems.

Anything i havent used them myself but they work . Better than isis but not as good as say hks or greddy, nismo .Brand name wise !

^ i've heard that some isis stuff is better, but in all honesty, they dont seem to even make the same parts. megan has more suspension parts will isis has turbo lines, intakes manifolds, etc.

Doubt that. My cost here at the dealer is 182.60 before tax. And thats 10% over cost. They are avail here at the dealer, but that price is a little low. List price would be 223.00 before tax.
