hey guys i just recently installed a megan racing manifold on my s13 and noticed my boost actually dropped a little? I was boosting around 14psi with the stock manifold and now im down to about 12-12.5ish psi.Is this normal?I also have a hks wastegate actuator and its been so long since i have adjusted it i forgot what way to turn to increase boost? Is it clockwise or counterclockwise?

thanks.

i wouldnt change the boost until I know why the pressure dropped!

my theory is since the new manifold has less restriction especially in the collector area the pressure would drop a little. I don't know if this makes sense or not?

It might have changed because you put on the new manifold.

maybe you have an exhaust leak? id double check the torque on the bolts.

There is no exhaust leak, you would clearly hear it if it was leaking from the head or the turbo gasket.

It's normal for your boost to go down if you changed your manifold.

You should have less backpressure so the boost should go down slightly, I had the same issue when I swapped the manifold, I had to slightly change my boost controller settings to get the same boost.

Also with the HKS actuator, shortening the rod makes the boost go higher.
