That picture might help a little more. This is my Versa many moons ago. Stock SL Wheels / Tires and Megan Racing springs.

I can't compare the ride to any of the other springs because I haven't rode in a Versa thats lowered other than mine but its not bad. I do recommend going slow over speed bumps and such though. When I drive over a pothole I didn't see its really loud.

I've had the springs for about 20k+ miles and haven't had any issues though. If I could go back I would make the same choice with the Megan Springs.

i really like them...have had them on for a couple of months now..even took it to arizona...6 hour drive...wasnt too bad. there was this one road that was really back and it seems like everything was shaking...but that was only once. as for ride comfort...i like it better. the bumpyness to me is how the car should be. after i got a front strut bar(about a month after springs were installed) i noticed the ride got slightly smoother. but turning was just about the same...did a before and after test.

Thanks for the link, I ordered a set the other day and should have them soon. Also found a four point ladder bar on the same site. I will let you guys know how the install and performance stacks up.

Are you still needing some pictures? I have Megan lowering springs on my versa as well, but mine are set up a little bit differently. My lowering springs are clamped to help make it sit a little lower. its a little bumpy but i can tolerate it no problem!

Dear Guys,

I am newbie in this forum, and i saw your forum about the Megan Lowering Springs. As of now, i have a original stacc of my Nissan Tiida and my tires is R15 Standard as of now, due to budget is concern i cannot change my tyres and rims to 17" so i prefer now, to lowered my Tiida.

If you could advise me if i am lowering my Tiida with megan springs does it look normal or too awkward with 15" rims.

Kindly advise and looking forward with you guys.

Best regards!

I've got the Megan lowering springs on 15in wheels(aftermarket but same dimensions) with regular tires and I highly recommend doing it. It really looks great. I also noticed that once you've lowered it the Versa no longer has issues with cross wind at higher speeds (70MPH+). That alone makes the Megan springs worth it.

Handling performance also has a noticeable increase and cornering is improved. Ride quality really isn't affected too much either, I'm in the car for at least two hours a day and regularly go on longer road trips in the Versa and the springs really didn't bother me and passengers were able to rest and sleep comfortably.

The Megan springs do have one of the greater drops in comparison to other springs available for the Versa. Megan's are suppose to do 2 inches in the front while most other springs are advertised at 1.5 inches. After having them for several months I'm willing to say it dropped a bit over 2 inches but others may vary.

In Addition budget for an alignment at some point after you put the springs in. Many people have been able to get by without it but I wasn't. Most shops wont charge you much if anything to get the car on the rack to measure. Alignment checks are also something you should do every once in a while regardless of whether you've worked on the suspension. When you do this plan on having to purchase a camber kit at least for the front with the Megan springs. I don't know what your parts availability is where you are but you may want to purchase it ahead of time. What should of been something that lasted a morning turned into a multiple day ordeal because very few places stock Versa parts in my area.

I hope that answers any questions you or anyone else on the thread may of had. If not- feel free to follow up with any additional questions. If you'd like I could provide pics of my cars stance.
