Hi i jus installed my headers into my sr20det but i have a problem. the hose the runs from the air intake to the valve cover in a T connection that branches to a unidentify part that has a vacuum line it also runs to the back side of the engine. wat does this part do? is it needed or can it be bypassed. it wouldnt fit after i installed the megan headers. the headers were in the way so the bracket and the hose cannot be reattached to the motor.

It is the stock oil catch can. I removed mine and put an aftermarket one in its place.

As everyone has said, that would be the oil catch can, remove it and get yourself and aftermarket one and mount it somewhere else in your engine bay. As for the hoses, run a line from the back side of the tee down to where it connects to the block, from the front of the tee run a hose to your catch can and then another hose from the catch can to the port on your rubber intake pipe. Thats how mine is setup and it seems to be fine.
