I just picked up the Megan ypipe (Version 2, HR style for the DE motor). I have an HR ypipe that came off of a 2012 G37s - which I had on my car for about 1000 miles and took it off thinking I was going to go dual with an xpipe, but never committed to it. Lately I've been running the stock M35 ypipe, it's decent but I always knew that I wanted to free up the y section.
Impressions of the Megan ypipe (version 2), very well built and the welds are really detailed. The inlet piping diameters are 2.5" and merge to the 3" outlet. Install was straight forward, my exhaust guy had no issues connecting it to my Megan mids...so now I have a 'full' Megan exhaust... I noticed an immediate difference in flow, sound and performance. The new ypipe style improved the torque and response compared to the stock ypipe. I took the car on the fwy and did some quick runs and the top end felt really good, too....the sound is not loud and obnoxious, but has a nice growl when I step on it. During city cruising, the car performs and sounds really good. I'm happy with the new ypipe and any M35 guys thinking of getting it, you'll be happy. I don't think this will fit the M35x, instead you may need to get the Megan ypipe made for the HR motor.
The seller that I go thru for the Megan parts is right down the street from Megan, so I was lucky to get one saved for me...Freddie, on our forum, is also another contact that the forum guys can go to. Either way, let me know if you guys are interested, I can provide my contact's info...his price is pretty good on the Megan products....
