you just need some 10/12/14 mm wrenches.. cant remember which. and a pry bar to get the exhaust hangers loose. If its a little rusty, some pb blaster/liquid wrench will help

+1 ^

and yes...the 14mm socket and wrench (one to hold the bolt while unscrewing the nut)...

you may want to invest in new rubber exhaust hangers while you're at it...the old ones get brittle and will eventually cause vibration/rattle from the exhaust to resonate thru the car...

should be an easy job. :dblthumb:

well i will claim partial success. i hit all the bolts with pb blaster last night. when i got the car up on the lift, it turns out the both the bolts and the nuts at the front of the midpipe were welded to the flange for some reason.

i decided to just do the mufflers for now. took off 4 nuts with my 24" breaker bar. therer was a 5th nut on the driver's side where the ground strap was. rounded the s*** out of that one. had to make a trip to the autoparts store for a bolt extractor set. got the nut off and put on the megans. fwiw, i recommend a few shots of silicon spray lubricant to make the exhaust hangers a little easier to deal with.

i'm gonna have to take a grinder to the nuts/bolts at the front of the midpie ti get it off next week.

if there was no rust and welded bolts i'd say this would gave been a 45 minute job. i spent about 3 hours on it so far.

front midpipe bolts were removed today through judcial use of an oxy-acetalyne torch. midpipe in. squeaking (was rubbing on the rear tow hooks) gone. wallet $100 lighter.

anyway i am pretty impressed with the fit and finish of the megan exhaust. a little louder than i would like at cruise but sounds good opened up.
