So, im trying to figure out the best coilovers for me and I see that Megan has two different types for the Altima Coupe. The Street and the EZ appear to be practically the same except for more damper adjustability on the Street series. However, the Street series are close to $200 more than the EZ's.
Are there any other differences in these two other than the 15 or 32 level of damper adjustments? Im just curious if anyone has purchased these and knows if its worth the extra $$ for the street series.

The EZ's...

It's not just the damper adjust-ability . The Street Series are true coilovers style. They don't require you to use the spring buckets (OEM-style). Some say the car handles better with OEM style.

In the geometric standpoint, true coilover style is more linear because the spring is not compressed by leverage.

With the spring bucket, where springs are often placed more towards the center of the vehicle, the rate of spring compression is affected by cornering load and transient speed, and the rate of compression occurs more progressively as a result of leverage.

It's hard to say which one performs better. It's up to you really, but if you just want to go lower and don't care about the performance aspect to it, then just go with whatever is easier on your pocket. I've personally ran both setups, and couldn't really tell the difference.

Hope that helps!

Thanks SanoSuKe! I appreciate the info. My plan is not so much for performance. Im primarily focused on the style or improving the stance. Is your signature a pic of your ride on megan coilovers? I am hoping to achieve that same or similar ride height.
Do you know if one is easier to install than the other or are they both just essentially bolt on replacement? I was quoted $350 by a shop locally to have them installed but would prefer to save that money, if I can install them correctly. I also plan to have the rear camber arms installed at that time as well.

The Street Series were easier to install and they are better in the long run if you're just going for "stance". You will need to get an alignment after the installation for sure, especially now that you said you're also installing camber arms.

Yeah, I don't plan on taking the car to any track days or attacking the curvy roads real aggressively so, its primarily about removing the enormous wheel gap that I have now. I definitely plan on getting the alignment done immediately after install. I appreciate the feedback.

I'm hoping you guys could help me out. initially i was planning to go with eibach springs & replace all 4 struts/shocks with KYB's at the same time, i looked around & the set up would cost me roughly $600. Then i saw Megan coils for $700. i figure for an extra 100 bucks itd be better to get coils right? My question is would i need a camber kit? for the front & the back? and is there anything else i need to know before i start buying things? i dont know much about anything :\

You don't necessarily need a camber kit after the coilovers, unless you need perfect alignment specs. The only thing I recommend is getting an alignment 1-2 weeks after changing your suspension. So go ahead and order your coilovers.

Installation of coilovers is so easy!! You really could do it in under an hour. I installed lowering springs and couldn't believe how easy it was (other than compressing and mounting the new lower springs). So If you're getting true coilovers it should be a breeze.

Did you mess with the dampning settings at all? If you installed it yourself, you sure everything is nice and tight?

Fixed the issue,i needed to take off the nobs where the settings are in the hood and tighten the bolt again. when i was hitting a bump it would keep moving up and down
