 hello..I just installed megan street coilovers on my 07 max. I have a nagging rattle noise from the rear..sounds like the top of the shock is loose or something. .i've taken the shocks off twice and cannot figure it out..can someone please help...

Sounds like the upper strut mount is toast. If I'm not mistaken, you reuse them. Good news is that they're cheap and easy to replace. I would also double check that you tightened everything down properly. Welcome to NICO!

If the Megan's have a pillow ball mount, the tend be somewhat noisy when you go over bumps. Have you re-torquing the top bolts once the suspension is fully loaded?

And Kenny is correct. Some coilovers require you to use parts of the stock top mounts, such as the bump stops.

Thanks for your replies..on the 07 max there are no top mounts just two factory weld bolts that sticks down from the top as u look under the wheel well..u would just mount the shock top plate to the bolts and tighten.
