ok. As some of you know. I did a y and a Magnaflow cat not to long ago. Not I like t he sound of the exhaust wen I am not it, but it just does not sound good enough when I am either revving it or at a normal driving speed RPM. This bugs me a bit too.. IT sounds nice wen it starts up and sounds throaty but I been hanging out with my suby buddy as of a late and he has been telling me all about Megan mufflers and how I should get that.

The only thing is... in my old opinion I thought those were the "vinnng vinnggg" type sounds... in cars i hated.... I hated those annoying sounds on civic and Integras.

DO u think that will happen on our cars? I kinda think it sounds like it but not as bad...

I've never heard a Megan muffler on a VQ in person so I'm not sure how it'd sound. I'm sure someone else will be able to offer some insight, though. The VQ can certainly be made to sound flatulent and tinny with the "wrong" muffler.

Just keep in mind that Subaru boxer fours have a VERY unique sound that you'll never be able to replicate with any muffler with a VQ. And by the same token, a muffler that sounds great on a Subaru won't necessarily sound great with the VQ.
