MEET: Nashville, TN & surrounding areas; March 25, 2006

Everyone's invited to meet on Saturday March 25th, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. We will hold the meet at Opry Mills Mall off of Briley Parkway in Nashville. The meeting area is the first parking lot on the right after you get off the exit. In all seriousness, lets make this a big one for Mid TN and anyone in the surrounding area, or even people passing through on that day. The way I see it, if we set a date well in advance, more than 10 people will show. Lets do this. I'll start the prep. And if anyone from the Murfreesboro/ Smyrna/ LaVergne area wants to meet a little earlier in the Boro or Smyrna, we can all ride out together. We can kick off 2006 early and keep it cool throughout the summer.

We had our Maxima meet there this past May and they were cool about it. I'm going to contact the guy that arranged it and see who he had to talk to to get permission. I do know that we can not do anything stupid in the lot. At our Maxima meet, some jackass started doing donuts in the lot while another guy got it on video. That almost got us kicked out. I'm that we can have a good, big meet and no problems as such. Spread the

I'm not much for changing things, but does anyone think that we should have this meet at a park in Nashville so that we can maybe turn it into a cookout as well? Let me know and I'll do the research.

two rivers park is just down the road. they have playground, wave pool, skate park and shelters in case of rain. only problem i see would be parking if a lot of people came.

That's sort of where I had in mind. Is there not a lot of places to park over there? I guess I thought there were. You know of anywhere else?

I've got Google Earth(great lil free program BTW). That lot at Opry Mills is huge! That would be a great spot for a meet.

The whole idea of grilling out is kind of cool too. I've searched a little bit for parks, but have come up empty handed . Any other ideas guys?

next best option would be like centinial park downtown.

also the corvette assoc used the titans lot a few years ago. and they let tailgaters grill out.

opry mills may be the best choice as its easy to find and big enough.

We're sticking with it. Opry Mills it is. This is what we need to make this happen:

ChipsDrinksHamburgers (and buns)Hotdogs (and buns)Condiments (ketchup mustard mayo pickles etc.)Grill

Unless you all prefer the name brands, bring the cheap stuff so we can have more food! Also, let me know who will voulunteer to bring what.

my dad has a cirlce grill.... he loves to cook and im sure he woudl love to cook as long as someone supply's the food. He can throw down burgers and dogs !! If someone says they will bring the stuff ill ask him.

it's 502streetscene.net, we have huge meets during the summers. I'm Nismonkey on there too. The meets we have aren't just Nissan/ Infinitis though...but we do have a sizable NICO crowd that is represented for the Louisville, KY area .

You have to login...there are usually about 50-100 users online at any given time...it just doesn't show up who's on unless you're actually logged in...

Dude, I dunno what the hells goin on.. I am usually pretty good at these things. I logged in and went in to On Topic.. "No posts in this thread" clicked the options thing to show all posts from the beginning..still..nothing. This is what I see on the main page:

I just cant figure it out.. Maybe its like the org where you have to get a certian amount of posts to do anthing? I dont see how you can do that if you cant see any threads though.. Oh well.. At least this meet thread keeps getting bumped.. lol

Lets keep this thread for our meet. If you need to exchange info otherwise, contact each other through email or whatever. We are clear to go at Opry Mills. NOBODY needs to act a fool, otherwise, they'll tell us to be on our way. I know we can all be cool and enjoy the food and getting to meet each other and the rides. Lets keep up the good work on gettting the word around; I talked to someone in GA yesterday that already knew about it and is planning on getting a few peeps to come up from there.

Thing is...we have a big group of NICO guys that are coming up from the 502streetscene board. We roll about 20 deep at a time at our local meets in Louisville, KY!

I'm hoping to get quite a few guys from Louisville to come down and join us!
