Mechanical Problem with Transmission

i got a 2003 6mt g35 coupe and for the last 2 days when ever i pop it into 3rd gear and only 3rd gear i hear this loud grinding noise like 2 pieces of metal are grinding against each other it just happens when i push the stick into 3rd right before it reaches the end it gives off this lound grinding noise for bout 2-3 sec any idea what this can be please help.

yes i belive it still is. but cant turn the car in till bout wensday or so cuz i need a loaner car for work and they wont have any avaible till wensday :/

well i took my car into the dealer today and got some bad but good news preety much told me that my whole transmission got trashed :/ but the good news is that there gonne install a brand new one all under warrenty hehe
