I have a track drift 240sx and i need some gauges. im looking for an oil pressure and watertemp gauge but i dont know whats better, elect. or mech. pros and cons? thanks

i would like to use an inline radiator hose sensor mount, like the one from buddy club. will it work w/ both types of gauges?

electronic are always nice. you may want to look into what is legal in the series you're competing in.

Mechanical will never fail unless you do something dumb on the install. Electronic is easier to hook up.

Its personal preference really, i went with electronic cuz its what i had. If it was for a track car though i would go with mechanical. I didnt want to run an oil line into my mint s14's cabin either..

^ Word. I have Blitz Mechanical oil pressure and temp gauges. They seem to be more accurate than my friend's electricals in his EK. My mechanical oil pressure gauge leaked once because I didn't tighten the oil line onto the gauge enough. Barring that they've been great. It's all up to personal preference

yep im goin with autometer too. and im probly gona go mech. for 3 reasons. 1. i dont mind choppin away at my firewall since its a track car. 2. the eletrical is a little funky on the car and i need somthing reliable. and 3 i dont want to run wireing.
