A few months ago I sold my mechanical fan that attaches to the waterpump pully for my redtop. I have an upgraded radiator with 2 electric fans, but I still feel dumb because I'm worried I'm going to overheat in the summer beating on it at the track.I'de rather run the fan then risk overheating.

I noticed the fans from my kae and sr were different. Is it a bad idea to run the kae fan on the sr? Or should I just buy a new fanclutch assembly for the sr?

KA will fit without a fan shourd. I have both electrical and mechanical. I don't really like electrical becuz of the voltage draw when it's on. Fan one set at 200 degree and fan 2 at 210. When I was running both electric never turn on.

I'm interested in this as well.. My SR fan took a beating in whatever yard it was kept in, and if a KA fan fits it's probably alot easier to find than an SR one.

Don't run a fan without a shroud, it will be very inefficient and is more likely to cause your car to overheat. I would rather the electric fans because at idle sitting they will pull more air through than a mechanical can. Also once your over 35mph or so, the car moving will force more air through than the fans can.
